Welcome to Frontier Anglers TN.  We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Maryville, TN.  East Tennessee is an angler’s paradise, and for good reason. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has over 700 miles of fishable water, not to mention the number of tailwaters around us, all of which hold rainbow, brown, and brook trout, smallmouth bass and carp. The Smokies also have great opportunities  for hiking and backpacking, with wonderful scenic views and wildlife. We provide guided fly fishing trips in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park under the terms of a Commercial Use Authorization issued by the National Park Service.

Along with the clear freestone streams and the large tailwaters, we also have a wide variety of lakes to choose from, some of which are surrounded by rolling mountains with virtually no disturbance. These lakes are where you would find your largemouth, smallmouth and carp and at certain times of the year, large trout.  We often encounter a lot of wildlife while on these lakes and rivers such as bear, deer, turkey, otters, beavers and families of Bald Eagles.  We are truly blessed to be able to live in the most beautiful and oldest mountains in the country.

Fly Fishing is what we do and it’s our passion.  We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience with others in order to make it their passion as well.  We specialize in fly fishing, but will alter your trip to your liking.  We practice catch and release so that others may enjoy the same experience. Whether you are a first time fly fisher or you are a seasoned veteran, you are always welcome here at Frontier Anglers TN.
