We unveiled the new boat today by floating the Little River and throwing streamers. It took a little while to get the trailer, and the boat rigged up but it was all worth it today. We caught 1 fish that was around 14 or 15 inches and had a few more swipe at our flies, but Tyler and I spent most of the time fighting over who would be behind the oars. The Little River is a pretty special river. It is a freestone river with NO large dams controlling the flow of the water which is hard to find anymore in this country, and it’s in our back yard. With wild Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout in the head waters and stocked trout and wild Smallmouth in the lower stretches it keeps us busy all year long. Here are some photos of Big Red from our friends at Saturn Rafts.
